नीब करौरी बाबा की अनंत कथाएँ: जब भक्त ने बद्रीनाथ देवता के बजाय महाराज जी को विराजमान देखा

एक दिन जब श्रीमती मुन्नी बाबा के पास गई तो उन्होंने कहा, "आज आपने बद्रीनाथ के दर्शन नहीं किए?" चूंकि वह पहले ही दर्शन कर चुकी थी, इसलिए वह चुप रही। बाबा ने तब कहा, "जाओ और फिर दर्शन करो।" जब मुन्नी फिर से मंदिर में पहुंची, तो बद्रीनाथ देवता के बजाय, उसने वहां बाबा को विराजमान देखा।

वह बिना रुके महाराज जी को विराजमान देखती रही। उसे मंदिर भेजने के बाद, बाबा ने उसके ससुर हब्बा को भी दर्शन के लिए भेजा। उनको भी बद्रीनाथ मूर्ति के स्थान पर लंबे समय तक बाबा के दर्शन हुए । उसकी आंखों से आंसू छलक पड़े। कुछ देर बाद वे दोनों बाबा के पास लौट आए, और हब्बा ने कहा, "सरकार, अपने हमें वहाँ व्यर्थ ही भेजा। उस मूर्ति में हमें आपके वैसे ही दर्शन हुए जैसे आपके अभी यहाँ हो रहे हैं ।"

One day when Shrimati Munni went to Baba, he said, "You did not have Badrinath's darshan today?" As she had already had darshan, she kept quiet. Baba then said, "Go and have darshan again." When Munni arrived again at the temple, instead of the Badrinath deity, she saw Baba enshrined there. She stared motionless at the spectacle.

After sending her to the temple, Baba also sent her father- in-law, Habba, to have darshan. He was standing near her, and he also had Baba's darshan in place of the Badrinath murti for a long time. Tears flowed from his eyes. Sometime later both of them returned to Baba, and Habba said, "Sarkar, you have made us run there for nothing. We had your darshan in that murti as we have your darshan here."
