नीब करौरी बाबा की अनंत कथाएँ: महाराज जी ने बूढ़े के हाथ से बोतल छीन ली और सारा दूध अपने सिर पर डाल दिया

कैंची आश्रम के पास एक झोंपड़ी में एक बूढ़ा रहता था। उनकी दो गायें ही उनकी संपत्ति थीं। वह दुखी था क्योंकि वह जीवन भर गरीबी से छुटकारा नहीं पा सका था और उसे विश्वास था कि उसे मृत्यु के बाद भी मोक्ष नहीं मिलेगा क्योंकि उसके अंतिम अधिकारों का पालन करने वाला कोई नहीं था। एक दिन उसने सोचा कि वह बाबा को दूध की भेंट देना चाहता है, वह बाबा के सिर पर दूध डालना चाहते थे जैसा कि एक शिवलिंग पर किया जाता है।

हालाँकि, बाबा को कई लोगों से घिरा देखकर, वह झिझका और उसने ये विचार छोड़ दिया। मंदिर से बाहर जाते समय उसने दूध नदी में डाल दिया और अपनी कुटिया में लौट आया। अगले दिन फिर से वही हुआ। बाबा ने तुरंत तिवारी से कहा कि वह बूढ़े को साथ ले जाए, जब वह आदमी आया तो बाबा ने बूढ़े के हाथ से बोतल छीन ली और सारा दूध अपने सिर पर डाल दिया।

बूढ़े की आँखें प्यार के आँसुओं से भीग गईं।बाबा ने उससे पूछा, "तुम्हें क्या चाहिए?" उन्होंने मोक्ष मांगा। बाबा ने कहा, "मैं तुम्हारा अंतिम संस्कार करवा दूंगा और तुमको मोक्ष मिल जाएगा।" उसे अपनी बातों का आश्वासन देने के लिए बाबा ने उसका हाथ अपने हाथ में लिया और अपनी बातों की पुष्टि की।

An old man lived in a hut near Kainchi ashram. His two cows were his only property. He was unhappy because he had not been able to get rid of poverty all through his life and believed he would not get salvation even after death since there was no one to perform his last rights.One day he thought that he could offer milk from his cows to Baba. The next morning he filled a bottle with milk and went to the temple.

He wanted to pour milk on Baba's head as is done over a Shivling. However, seeing Baba surrounded by many people, he hesitated and gave up the idea. He poured the milk into the river on his way out of the temple and returned to his hut. Next day same thing happened. Baba at once told Tewari to escort the old man, when the man arrived Baba snatched the bottle from the old man's hand and poured all the milk over his own head.

The old man's eyes became wet with tears of love.Baba asked him, "What do you want?" He asked for salvation. Baba said, "I will get your last rites performed and salvation will be given." To assure him of his words took his hand in his own and confirmed his words.
