125 Air Passengers From Italy Test Covid Positive On Arrival In Punjab

New Delhi, January 6 (TNA) As Covid cases rise in most aprts of the country, more than 125 passengers in a flight from Italy have tested positive for Coronavirus on arrival. The flight landed in Amritsar, Punjab and during the RTPCR test they were found to be positive.

Media reports quoting VK Seth, Airport Director, said that necessary protocols were being followed soon after the reports of the air passengers came. There were 179 passengers on the Italy-Amritsar flight.
