14 Dead As Bus Rolls Down Into River In Nepal, Vehicle Was From Gorakhpur
Lucknow, August 23 (TNA) In a tragic incident, a bud fell in a river in Nepal when it was on way to the capital of the hill nation, Kathmandu. According to initial reports, the ill-fated bus started the journey from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh and the accident took place in Abhikhaereni when the driver of the bus lost control and the bus rolled down a cliff to fall in the Marsayagi river.
14 people have been confirmed dead byu local authorities. The bus has 40 passengers and some of them are reportedly missing. Rescue operations by the police and locals is underway. The bus (UP FT 7623) has been turned into a magled piece of steel.
