Amid Covid Spike, Supreme Court And Allahabad HC Switch To Virtual Mode From Monday

Lucknow, January 2 (TNA) Even as political parties and leaders care two hoots over the rising cases of Covid and its Omicron variant, the Supreme Court (SC) on Sunday announced that from Monday all physcial hearing before it were being suspended.

Citing the spike in Coronavirus cases, the apex court said that the hearings will now on be held only in virtual mode.

This would be applicable, as of now, for the next two weeks. The Allahabad High Court (HC) has also followed suit and both the Prayagraj and Lucknow benches would also be holding the court sessions in virtual mode from Monday.
