Bollywood Actor Mangal Dhillon Passes Away

New Delhi, June 11 (TNA) Famous Punjabi and Bollywood actor Mangal Dhillon passed away on Sunday after a long battle with cancer, his family informed. He was admitted in a hospital at Ludhiana and the end came just a week before his birthday on June 18. He was born in a Sikh family in Faridkot district of Punjab. His family later shifted to Lakhimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh.

He did his post-graduate diploma in acting course from New Delhi in 1980 and did theater thereafter. He then got some big and effective roles in television serials inlcuind the hugely successful ‘Buniyaad’. His debut serial was ‘Katha Sagar’. He was also seen in Bollywood movies like Zakhmi Aurat, Khoon Bhari Maang, Dayavan, Nakabandi, Dalaal, Janasheen and Kahan Hai Kanoon.
