The British civil servant, who has studied in Winchester College, Magdalene College, University of Cambridge says that he was very pleased and happy to have arrived with his family in New Delhi.
Starting with a 'Namaskar', the 53-year-old Ellis, who till recently was Deputy National Security Adviser for the Integrated Review on diplomacy, development and defence, won many admirers for speaking the language of the country where he is now posted in.
His 26 second video has got more than 82,000 views. Eminent poet Kumar Vishvas has also liked the attempt of the envoy to speak in Hindi.
