COVID Claims Yet Another Gem: Eminent Litterateur, Writer, Poet Manglesh Dabral Passes Away
New Delhi, December 9 (TNA) Eminent litterateur, writer and poet Manglesh Dabral passed away at the AIIMS in New Delhi on Wednesday. He was 72 and was being treated for pneumonia which had infected his lungs after he suffered from COVID-19.
Initially, he was being treated at a private hospital in Ghaziabad but soon his condition deteriorated and he was shifted to AIIMS.
His daughter Alma Dabral was looking after him. He had been honoured with the prestigious Sahitya Academy Award and was popular in the literary world.
He was born on May 16, 1948 in Kafalpani village, Tehri district of Uttarakhand. He worked for many major media outlets including Amrit Prabhat and Sahara Samay. TNA pays rich tributes to the eminent luminary and extends its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
