Delhi Police Bust International Drug Racket, Three Nigerian Nationals Arrested

New Delhi, Oct 7 (TNA) The Delhi Police has busted a major international drug racked and seized a heroin consignment worth Rs 13 crores, an official said on Thursday. Three African nationals were running the ring in Dwarka locality of the union capital.

Police said 1.3 kgs of heroin has been seized from the gang comprising of Stanley Shimez Alasoni (41), Henry Okoli (41) and Yuchechukwu Peter Igbonju (37). The accused were living here without a valid visa and were active in Uttam Nagar and Mohan Garden.

During interrogation they told the police that the banned substance reached India from Africa via Russia. The accused said that many times the drug was smuggled into India from Bangladesh and Nepal.
