Double Murder Jolts East Delhi, Mother-Daughter Hacked By Robbers In Krishnanagar Flat

New Delhi, June 1 (TNA) A double-murder in east Delhi rocked the national capital late Wednesday night. According to the police, the murders were noticed by neighbours when foul smell emanated from a house. The police was informed and bodies of Rajrani (64) and her daughter as Ginni Karar (30) were found in the lobby of flat E-17/2, first floor, Krishna Nagar, lying in a pool of blood.

They were apparently killed after being robbed in Krishna Nagar area of Shahdara district on Wednesday night. Crime team and FSL were called to the spot. The miscreants had searched and ransacked the house, based on which, police fear that this was also a robbery. The police suspect that there has been a friendly entry of miscreants in the house. It appears that the duo was killed a day or two back. Both the bodies have been sent for postmortem.

During investigation, it was found that Rajrani and her daughter Ginni lived alone in the house. Rajrani's husband had passed away. She had etired from All India Radio (AIR) and her daughter used to work in an MNC and at present, she was doing work from home since Covid. Relatives of the deceased have been informed and bodies sent for post-mortem.
