Former Siwan MP Mohd Shahabuddin Dies Of COVID He Contracted In Tihar

New Delhi, May 1 (TNA) Former Lok Sabha MP from Siwan in Bihar, Mohd Shahabuddin passed away at the Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital in New Delhi on Saturday.

He was serving sentence in the Tihar prison for a murder and had contracted the Coronavirus on April 20 and had been admitted to the medical facility ever since.

While initially the Tihar prison authorities denied the reports of Shahabuddin's death as rumors, the DG of Tihar Sandeep Goyal later conformed his passing away.

RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav has mourned the passing away of Shahabuddin and prayed for peace to his soul.
