Former UP Governor Ram Naik Remembers Kalbe Sadiq Through Old Throwback Picture

Mumbai, Nov 25 (TNA) Former Uttar Pradesh governor Ram Naik on Wednesday mourned the demise of eminent Islamic scholar Kalbe Sadiq, who died after prolonged ag-related ailments.

Sharing a throwback picture of his tenure at the Lucknow Raj Bhawan, where he can be seen animatedly chatting with the deceased Shia cleric, Naik referred to Sadiq as a "holy bright light" who worked all through his life for communal harmony.

Stating further in the condolence message, the veteran BJP leader said that he was some one who commanded great respect from people of all cross sections of the society and was looked upon by people.

He also recalled his last meeting with Sadiq, when he demoted office and was leaving Lucknow for Mumbai.
