Forty Metric Tonnes Of Liquid Oxygen Arrives In Mangalore From Bahrain

New Delhi, May 5 (TNA) In a big relief to the gasping nation, two liquid oxygen cryogenic containers arrived in India from Bahrain on Wednesday. According to information, these two containers - of 20 metric tonnes each, arrived at Mangalore on board the INS Talwar.

A spokesman of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that the oxygen had come as part of Operation Samudra Setu-II to "bolster our oxygen availability". INS Talwar, is the first among the Indian ships deployed in the operation.
