Google Launches AI-Powered Search In Hindi And English In India
Google has introduced its Search Generative Experience (SGE) in India, aiming to enhance user search results using generative AI technology. This initiative focuses on delivering concise answers and visual content, enabling smoother follow-up questions and a more natural conversational flow for users.
A notable feature of SGE's Indian launch is its availability in both English and Hindi to cater to the diverse user base.
To access this feature, users can follow these steps:
1. Sign in to Google Chrome on your desktop or the Google app.
2. Click on the top-right corner icon.
3. Enable the SGE option for generative AI in Search.
In a related development, Google's subsidiary, DeepMind, unveiled 'SynthID,' a tool designed to identify deepfakes within AI-generated images. Currently in beta, SynthID applies a digital watermark to image pixels, which can only be detected by software for identification purposes.
This addresses the challenge of identifying increasingly sophisticated AI-integrated images and deepfakes, making AI-manipulated images more noticeable through digital watermarking. Google Enhances Search in Hindi and English with AI Technology, and DeepMind Launches Tool to Detect Deepfakes.
