New Delhi, June 30 (TNA) V. Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing) Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., accompanied by seven other senior officials, visited the Sulabh Campus on Wednesday. They were welcomed by Dr Bindeshwar Pathak, Founder, Sulabh Sanitation, Social Reform, Health & Hygiene and Human Rights Movement.

They visited the Museum of Toilets and were awed by the rare collection of artifacts, pictures and objects, detailing the eye-opening historic evolution of toilets since 2500 B.C. They also keenly observed the models of Sulabh’s innovative technology-based twin-pit pour-flush toilets and public toilet linked biogas plant.

They had intensive discussions with the founder which focused on how we could come together and collaborate, in the vital field of sanitation. The delegation was highly impressed by the 52 years of Sulabh’s experience in the field of sanitation and was assured of work of very high standard by Sulabh. Ways and means to overcome procedural hurdles were explored and the meeting ended on a very positive note.
