IndiGo Flight From Delhi To Bengaluru Makes Emergency Landing At IGI Airport After Sparks In The Engine
New Delhi, Oct 29 (TNA) A major tragedy was averted on Friday night as an IndiGo flight was made to make an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi after sparks were seen in the engine of the aircraft. All passengers are safe and a probe has been ordered by the DGCA.
The sparks were seen in IndiGo flight 6E-2131 (Delhi to Bangalore) aircraft. Arrangements were made for the passengers of the flight to take another plane.
IndiGo said that the problem occurred during the take-off roll in the aircraft. The aircraft was immediately grounded soon after this technical glitch was noticed. There were 184 passengers on board including the crew members.
