"Infiltration By Pakistan Based Terrorists Goes Down In Jammu & Kashmir"

NEW DELHI || Attempts by Pakistan based terrorists to sneak into Indian through the border of the two neighbouring countries has come down in the last two years, the government of India informed the Upper House of the Parliament on Wednesday.

In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy informed that a total number of 143 infiltrations occurred in the year 2018 and 141 infiltrations in the year 2019.

In this year till July, 48 infiltrations happened in Jammu and Kashmir. The Minister went on to inform the House that 257 terrorists were killed in 2018 and 157 terrorists in the year 2019 were killed in J&K. This year, 168 terrorists have been killed in the Union Territory of Kashmir till September 9.
