Kedarnath Shrine Opens For Devotees

Dehradun, May 6 (TNA) The doors of Shri Kedarnath Dham opened at 6.25 am on Friday. As soon as the doors were opened, the self-styled Shivling of Lord Kedarnath was awakened from the form of samadhi and Shringar Darshan started. The first Rudrabhishek was done in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and his wife reached Shri Kedarnath Dham on this occasion and they prayed for the happiness and prosperity of all the people of the state by offering prayers at Shri Kedarnath Dham and welcomed all the devotees coming to Char Dham Yatra in Devbhoomi.

Chairman of Kedar Temple Committee Ajendra Ajay, Commissioner Garhwal Sushil Kumar, District Magistrate Mayur Dixit and Chief Executive Officer of Temple Committee B.D. Vedpathi, Acharyas including Singh were also present on the occassion.
