Lone Survivor Of Coonoor Chopper Crash Gp Captain Varun Singh Passes Away

Bengaluru, December 15 (TNA) Lone survivor of the chopper crash last week in Coonoor district of Tamil Nadu, Gp Captain Varun Singh lost the battle of life on Wednesday. The Shaurya Chakra Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot died at a Bengaluru hospital where he had been admitted for the past few days. He had sustained 85% burn injuries.

He hailed from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. Sources said while he remained critical all through his hospitalization he was stable but the end came at 12 noon on Wednesday, exactly one week after the crash which killed 13, including the CDS Gen Bipin Rawat and his wife Madhulika Rawat.
