Lucknow, August 12 (TNA) Already stressed by the arrest of her husband Raj Kundra in a pornography case, actress Shilpa Shetty is now facing fresh trouble as the Lucknow Police has served her a notice in a case of fraud. According to an officials, the case pertains to a wellness centre in the state capital. An FIR has been lodged against her by a Jyotsna Chouhan in the Vibhuti Khand police station of Gomtinagar.

The FIR names Shilpa Shetty and her mother Sunanda, accusing them of fraud. The police have now served the duo a notice and they have been asked to respond to the charges within the next three days. The wellness center in question has however rubbished the allegations and has asked people not to name their chain in the controversy around Shilpa Shetty.

"Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her mother Sunanda Shetty 'have no connection' with our fitness chain. Shilpa Shetty and her mother Sunanda Shetty have no connection with us. We have parted ways amicable long ago. Hence, please stop spreading rumours and aspersions. I am a single parent and a hardworking professional. ...is my baby and a brand I have built over the years. I am more than happy to verify facts with the concerned authorities. Till then I humbly request you to remove these posts as the matter is sub Judice in the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay where we have orders in our favour," the chairperson of teh chain of wellness centres said in her statement.
