Narendra Modi’s Personal Twitter Handle “Briefly Compromised,” Secured Now

New Delhi, December 12 (TNA) In a shocking breach of security, the personal Twitter handle of Prime Minister @narendramodi was “very briefly compromised” on Sunday. According to a statement by the PMO, the matter “was escalated to Twitter and the account has been immediately secured”.

It also advised Twitter users and followers of the PM to “ignore” any tweets done from the account during that time. “In the brief period that the account was compromised, any Tweet shared must be ignored” a statement said.

The hacking of his account was noted when it shared a scam link promising a bitcoin giveaway. The account has now been restored and the malicious tweets have been deleted.
