On World Breastfeeding Week, NITI Aayog Opens A Lactation Room

New Delhi, August 7 (TNA) On the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week, NITI Aayog has opened a lactation room to support and encourage working mothers to continue breastfeeding their babies after returning to work.

This room will not only ensure giving a child the best start in life, but also improve the health of working mothers, making workplace women friendly and reducing stress levels.

This reinstates NITI’s commitment to provide an enabling environment to working women where they are empowered, able to thrive, and fulfil their full potential in every aspect of life.
