Former Delhi Congress President Tajdar Babar Passes Away

New Delhi, Oct 2 (TNA) Former Delhi Congress president and veteran leader Tajdar Babar passed away in the union capital on Saturday, her family said.

She was an MLA from the erstwhile Minto Road constituency, which later became a part of the New Delhi Assembly and was represented by former chief minister Sheila Dikshit and now current CM Arvind Kejriwal.

She was one of the most smiling faces of Delhi Congress and is remembered for her affability and easy access. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi visited the family and paid his condolences.

Her body was kept in the community building Nizamuddin East from 12:00 noon to 4:30 pm for last darshan.
