Over 1500 Farmers Invited To Witness 75th Republic Day Parade At New Delhi

New Delhi, January 24 (TNA) In celebration of India's 75th Republic Day, distinguished guests from different fields will gather at Kartavya Path to watch the Republic Day parade. The government plans to honour several beneficiaries of central government schemes by inviting them to witness the momentous parade.

As a noteworthy addition to the esteemed guest list, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is inviting over 1500 farmers who are beneficiaries of various central government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana etc, to watch the 75th Republic Day Parade. As a part of this celebration, a comprehensive training session on key government initiatives like AIF, M&T, National Seeds Cooperation, and Per Drop More Crop, coupled with a field visit to PUSA Campus, is scheduled for the farmers on 25 January 2024.

On 26 January 2024, the special invitees will witness the Republic Day parade at Kartavya Path. Following the parade, the farmers will gather at Subramaniam Hall, PUSA, for a special program in the presence of Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Tribal Affairs, Arjun Munda, who will be expressing his gratitude to the farmers for their indispensable role in bolstering the economy and highlight the government's commitment to supporting them through various schemes.

Following the address, the farmers will have the opportunity for a photo session with Ministers and dignitaries and conclude the day with a curated lunch. This celebration is set to highlight MoA&FW’s dedication towards development, recognizing and appreciating the tireless efforts of the agricultural community.
