Pegasus Project: Mayawati Flags "Dirty Game Of Spying And Blackmail"

New Delhi, July 20 (TNA) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Tuesday jumped into the 'Pegasus project' uproar in the country and said that the allegations of a "dirty game of spying and blackmail" through expensive gadgets had created a sensation across the country.

The matter pertaining to breach of privacy, spying of politicians, opposition leaders, journalists, officials was a very serious and dangerous matter. The coming to the fore of this scandal has created furore in the country, the four-time UP chief minister said in a statement.

She also made light of the explanations, contradictions and clarifications put forward by the central government in this regard and said that people were not finding these trustworthy. The dalit leader further demanded that a clean, independent and fair probe in the whole matter should be ordered so that immediate action could be taken and accountability fixed.
