PM Dials Maharashtra CM Uddhav, Discusses Flood Situation
New Delhi, July 23 (TNA) Prime Minister, Narendra Modi late on Thursday spoke to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray over phone and discussed the situation in parts of Maharashtra in the wake of heavy rainfall and flooding.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Spoke to Maharashtra CM Shri Uddhav Thackeray and discussed the situation in parts of Maharashtra in the wake of heavy rainfall and flooding. Assured all possible support from the Centre to mitigate the situation. Praying for everyone’s safety and well-being. @OfficeofUT"
Maharashtra has been pounded with heavy rains at many places, resulting in landslides and flooding. Rain related incidents have killed many people in the last few days.
