PM Modi To Distribute Appointment Letters To 51,000 Candidates Selected For Government Jobs

New Delhi, Sep 26 (TNA) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today hand over appointment letters to 51,000 newly appointed candidates in various government departments and organizations. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said on Monday that PM Modi will distribute these appointment letters through video conferencing and will also address the candidates.

Employment fair will be held at 46 places across the country for this purpose on Tuesday. Under the initiative of employment fair, recruitment is taking place in Central Government departments as well as State Governments and Union Territories.

The candidates selected in the new recruitments from across the country will work in various ministries and departments including the Department of Posts, Indian Audit and Accounts Department, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The PMO said the employment fair is a step towards fulfilling the Prime Minister's commitment to give top priority to employment generation. It is expected that the job fair will act as a catalyst in further employment generation.
