Portals Of Badrinath Open On Sunday Morning, Chaar Dhaam Yatra Commences
Dehradun, May 8 (TNA) The portals of the world famous Badrinath Dham opened on Sunday morning at 6.15 am with vedic chanting and traditional rituals. The devotees will now be able to visit the shrine which is part of the popular annual Chaar Dhaam Yatra.
Devotees will now be able to have darshan and worship of Lord Badrivishal for six months of summer. The temple was lavishly decorated with marigold flowers on this occasion. Thousands of devotees from all over the country and abroad witnessed the opening of the doors with the devotional tunes of the army band and the cheers of Jai Badrivishal.
The Chardham Yatra has duly started as the portals of Shri Badrinath Temple are opened. On this occasion, Chief Priest of Shri Badrinath Dham Rawal Ishwar Prasad Namboodiri, Naib Rawal Amarnath Namboodiri, Dharmadhikari Acharya Bhuvan Chandra Uniyal, Badri Kedar Temple Committee President Ajendra Ajay, Vice President Kishore Panwar along with public representatives, administrative officers and devotees were present.
