Praveen Kumar Sobti Who Essayed ‘Bhim’ In Teleserial Mahabharat Dies
New Delhi, February 8 (TNA) Actor Praveen Kumar Sobti, appreciated world over for portraying the role of Bhim, one of the five Pandav brothers in fampus teleserial of BR Chopra Mahabharat passed away late on Monday after a massive cardiac arrest.
He was 74 and had been suffering from a chronic chest infection problem. At night, he reportedly felt uneasy and before medical help came he breathed his last at his home. Sobti was in the Border Security Force (BSF) and had won medals at the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games. He had also acted in many films.
Sobti also tried his luck in politics, first joining the Aam Aadmi Party in 2013 later with the BJP. He is survived by his wife and daughter.
