Rajbagh Jhelum Riverfront In Srinagar Inaugurated By J&K LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar, May 20 (TNA) The newly done up road and the Rajbagh Jhelum Riverfront was dedicated to the people of the state by LG Manoj Sinha on Saturday, an official said.

The project has been developed under Srinagar Smart City Ltd. The riverfront road has been redone and it is now one of the first uniform carriage roads in city, Athar Aamir Khan, the commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation said in a series of tweets.

He also informed that the underground drainage, parking spaces both on the street as well as off street have been made, long walking and cycling spaces have been built. The green spaces, sitting spaces, alongwith carefully designed lighting & illumination has been done.

Desilting and slope stabilisation of river bund has been done. Urban art objects especially ones for kids have been put up to give the place a festive look! This is will be another must visit places in our city, the bureaucrat further said.
