SC Refuses Immediate Hearing On Anurag Bhadouria On Plea To Quash FIR

New Delhi, Dec 12 (TNA) The Supreme Court (SC) on Monday refused to immediately hear a petition moved by the Samajwadi Party (SP) national spokesman Anurag Bhadouria to quash an FIR filed against him by a BJP leader.

The SP leader had sought an immediate hearing of his plea. He has been udnerground ever since the FIR was lodged for making objectionable comments on UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath during a TV debate.

Supreme Court while giving no relief to Anurag Bhadouria said that the petition will be heard in January, after the winter vacation of the apex court. The SP leader had also demanded that police action against him should also be immediately stopped.
