New Delhi, July 18 (TNA) The Supreme Court of India will hear Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's plea seeking a stay on conviction on July 21. On behalf of the former Wayanad MP, Congress leader amd senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi demanded an early hearing of the petition from the bench headed by the CJI.

For Rahul Gandhi's membership of Parliament to be restored, it is necessary that the decision to hold him guilty should also be put on hold. Right now only his sentence is suspended from the sessions court (i.e. he has got bail). The matter has been listed for July 21 now.
