‘The Kashmir Files’ Set To Storm Into The Elite ‘Rs 100 Crore Club’ Today
Mumbai, March 18 (TNA) The festival of colours Holi has brought good news for the fans and makers of ‘The Kashmir Files’ as the acclaimed film is likely to breach the Rs 100 crore at the box office on Friday. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has already raked in RS 97.30 crores at the box office and in all likelihood would storm into the ‘Rs 100 Crore Club’ today.
With this the film that highlights the genocide of the Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley in the early 90’s, the movie is set to be yet another blockbuster in the Bollywood, though it did not get much support from the biggies of the Hindi film industry.
The film last Friday on the first day of its releases did business of Rs 3.55 crore, on Saturday of Rs 8.50 crore, Sunday (15.10 crore), Monday Rs 15.05 crore, Tuesday (Rs 18 crore), Wednesday Rs 19.05 crore and on Thursday it did a business of Rs 18.05 crore thus totalling ₹ 97.30 crore. The film stars Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi and Mithun Chakrawarty in lead roles.
