World Rings In New Year 2022 But With Caution As Omicron Rages

Lucknow, January 1 (TNA) People across the globe welcomed the new year 2022 with traditional fervour on Saturday but with caution as the Covid pandemic is raging in many parts of the world. The first to welcome 2022 was New Zealand where people celebrated th arrival of the new year by bursting crackers.

People in India, Australia, Japan, South Korea, UK, USA have been cautioned by governments to play it safe and remain indoors. In many parts of India, public celebrations have been forbidden due to the spike number o cases of Omicron variant.
