AMU Student Wins Prize In Environment Competition

Aligarh, June 15 (TNA) Hussam Bin Mehare, a student member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) AMU Chapter bagged first position with a cash prize of Rs 5000/- and a certificate in the presentation competition on topics related to Environment Day. He made his presentation on the theme, “Only One Earth”.

He also got second position in the presentation competition related to various topics concerning the Earth Day celebration, including energy saving, water conservation, ozone depletion, global warming, pollution, sustainability, etc. He received a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- and a certificate for making the second best presentation on “Sustainable development”.

These competitions were organized by the ASHRAE AMU Chapter in an online mode and student members of different ASHRAE student chapters from Delhi Technological University, PUSA Institute of Technology Delhi, ABES Ghaziabad, MAIT Noida, IIMT Noida and UPES Ghaziabad participated in these events.
