BHU Fee Hike: Security Personnel Try To Forcibly Remove Striking Students
Varanasi, Nov 3 (TNA) Security personnel late on Wednesday tried to forcibly remove the students sitting on a dharna in front of the Vice-Chancellor's residence in protest against the fee hike in Banaras Hindu University (BHU). They also had a tiff with students about this.
The protesting students demanded action, accusing the security personnel of the Proctorial Board of indecency. There was a huge uproar in front of the Vice Chancellor's residence regarding the matter.
In protest against the decision to increase the fees in the university, for the last 20 days, students have been protesting in front of the Vice-Chancellor's residence, demanding a roll back.
On Wednesday night, security personnel arrived and started forcibly removing the students. Meanwhile, the students made a video of them and posted it on social media.
