Schools, Colleges To Reopen In Uttar Pradesh From Monday

Lucknow, February 5 (TNA) With fresh guidelines issued by the Government of India, all schools from class IXth to XIIth will reopen in Uttar Pradesh from Monday, an official said. The move comes after a decline in Covid cases amid a weakening third wave and improved weather.

Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Avanish Kumar Awasthi said that all schools will now open but they will have to strictly comply with the guidlines prescribed by the government of India. The Education Ministry has asked managements of all schools to ensure that physical distance, wearing of masks, frequent sanitisation are followed.
