Student Agitation Against Offline Exams In Allahabad University Intensifies

Prayagraj, March 3 (TNA) The students' agitation in Allahabad University, which has been going on for the last several days intensified on Thursday. The students protesting against the offline examination started shouting slogans at around 11 am and stopped teaching in all the classes. Attempts were also made to storm several departments.

The police force, which arrived after receiving the news, chased the students in which reportedly some fell down and sustained injuries. The police has detained three students who have been taken to the police lines.

Students say that the examination to be held from March 22 should be online because studies were also being done online during the Corona period. If even now the university administration ignores their demand, theprotests will further intensify, they threatened.
