Under Grad Admissions For Allahabad University Begin, Through CUET For 2nd Consecutive Year

Prayagraj, February 12 (TNA) The process of submitting online applications for undergraduate admission in Allahabad University (AU) have started. Online applications will be accepted till midnight on March 12. This time also admission in IVI will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

The responsibility of conducting CUET has been entrusted to the National Testing Agency (NTA). Through CUET, admission will be taken for about 17,000 seats of BA, BSc, BCom, BALLB, BFA and BPA in EVIV and about one thousand seats for eight courses of Institute of Professional Studies (IPS).

There are 100 combinations of different subjects available for admission to BA, seven combinations in B.Sc Maths group and five combinations in B.Sc Bio group. Detailed information about the combination of subjects is available on the website of AU.

For admission in EVV in the academic session 2023-24, students will have to compulsorily appear in both Hindi and English or either of the two subjects. Apart from these two languages, the candidates will automatically be deprived of admission in EVV if they opt for any other language.

Candidates applying for admission will have to submit the fee online by 11.50 PM on March 12. Candidates will also get a chance to rectify errors in the details filled in the application from March 15 to 18.

On April 30, the names of the cities where the examinations are to be conducted will be announced. From the second week of May, candidates will be able to download the admit card from the NTA website. The entrance test will start from May 21.
