UP Board Results Announced: Priyanshi Soni Tops Xth, Mahoba's Shubh Chhapra Tops Intermediate

Lucknow, April 25 (TNA) The UP Board results for classes Xth and XIIth were declared on Tuesday afternoon by officials of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. This time 89.76 percent of the total registered students in high school passed out of 1316487.

Priyanshi Soni of Sitapur has topped in class 10th. Kushagra Pandey of Kanpur Dehat is on the second slot.

The pass percentage of students in high school (Class Xth) this year is 89.78 of which boys passing percentage is 86.64 while that of girl students is 93.34. In Intermediate (Class XIIth), 75.52 per cent of the candidates passed. 69.54 per cent boys passed while the pass percentage of girls was about 83 per cent. Mahoba's Shubh Chhapra topped the Intermediate while Pilibhit's Saurabh Gangwar stood second.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has congratulated the students who passed the exams and lauded them for their hard work and committment towards their studies.
