Prayagraj, June 17 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court (HC) has stayed the proposed demolition proceedings of Noida in the Yamuna-Hindon river floodplain. After this order of the High Court, hundreds of people have breathed a sigh of relief, whose constructions were coming under the action of demolition. While maintaining the status quo, the court ordered those affected to submit objections to the Noida Authority within 10 days.

Chairman of Harit Kisan Kalyan Samiti, Rajesh Aggarwal and others had filed a petition against the demolition action of the authority. In these petitions, the Noida Authority's public notice dated 8 June 2022 was challenged. The Noida Authority had issued a notice regarding more than a thousand farm houses coming in the flood zone. The authority had also demolished some constructions while taking action.
