New Delhi, Nov 26 (TNA) Air quality in the union capital New Delhi remained “very poor” on Friday morning, keeping up the heat on the government to devise more and innovative ways to tackle the menace that is posing serious health hazards to the people.

As per the System of Air Quality And Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the air quality index (AQI) of the capital was at 339, putting the city in the category of very poor air quality.

The AQI has remained the same over the past two days, showing no signs of improvement, despite many efforts by the state government to do so, including long closure of schools and work from home (WFH) facility to office goers.
