All Expressways In Uttar Pradesh To Be Interlinked

Lucknow, June 27 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh, which has the highest number of expressways in the country, is expanding its road network. In line with CM Yogi's intention, the work of connecting all the expressways is going on fast.

All expressways of Uttar Pradesh will now be interconnected. Apart from connecting Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Ganga Expressway through Farrukhabad Link Expressway, the agency has been selected by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPDA). The agency will prepare a detailed report (DPR). The proposal was approved in the board meeting of UPDA on Wednesday.

In this link, it is proposed to connect the Chitrakoot Link Expressway with the Bundelkhand Expressway. Ballia Link Expressway is also being constructed.

A link expressway is needed to connect Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Purvanchal Expressway. All the expressways of the state will be connected with this one project. A detailed action plan will be prepared for this link expressway of about 60 km. At the same time, the budget for the Chitrakoot Link Expressway has been released.

According to preliminary studies, the four-lane Chitrakoot Link Expressway will be about 14 km long. Redecon (India) Pvt Ltd and NV Projects Consultancy Pvt Ltd have been selected to prepare the DPR in this regard.
