Amidst Ever-Growing Footfall In Varanasi, Three New Tourist Police Posts To Open Soon

Varanasi, January 3 (TNA) Now criminals are set to have a even more difficult time, specially if you are eyeing tourists to dupe and rob them in Varanasi. This, as the Yogi Adityanath government has cleared the decks for opening of three tourist police posts in the new year where adequate number of policemen will be deployed to cater to the ever-growing tourist crowd exclusively.

The torust police posts will come up near Assi, Namoghat and Swarved Temple. After the inauguration of the new and grand Srikashi Vishwanath Dham, the number of tourists in Varanasi is continuously increasing. Police Commissioner Commissionerate Varanasi Mutha Ashok Jain said that in view of the increasing number of tourists, tourist police posts are being established at Namo Ghat and Assi Ghat on both ends of the ghats of Ganga.
