Cycle Rallies To Celebrate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Lucknow, Sep 18 (TNA) India is celebrating its 75th year of Independence as "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav". The Ministry of Home Affairs has planned various programmes and activities as a part of these celebrations also including 75 Cycle Rallies' by Central Armed Police Forces and Assam Rifles.

These rallies would originate from various parts of the country and would culminate at Rajghat, New Delhi on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Father of the Nation', October 2, 2021.

These rallies are to commemorate the glorious history and culture of India as well as celebrate 75 years of progress and development.

The routes for Cycle Rallies' have been planned in such a way that it passes through the important places associated with India's freedom struggle. The cyclists participating in these rallies would be interacting with the people on their way associating masses with the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations and spreading the message of national unity

In Uttar Pradesh, the cycle rally will pass through Lucknow, Unnao, Mati, Akbarpur, Auraiya, Etawah, Shikohabad, Tundla, Mathura and Kosi Kalan and will involve volunteers of NCC, NSS, eminent sports persons, families of martyr’s, school children, Vyapar Mandals, Resident Welfare Associations and local public representatives.

Thereafter, the Cycle Rally will reach Rajghat, New Delhi on the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi.
