Over A Lakh Devotees Register For The Annual Chaar Dhaam Yatra In Uttarakhand

Dehradun, April 24 (TNA) With cases of Coronavirus receding in the hill state of Uttarakhand, life seems to be limping back to normal. Tourism, which is one of the mainstay of the Uttarakhand economy is also coming back to normal. A government official said that so far ore than one lakh devotees have registered for the annual and much anticipated Char Dham Yatra.

These registrations were done between May 3 to May 31. 15,829 registrations have been done for Yamunotri, 16,804 for Gangotri, 41,107 for Kedarnath and the maximum 29,488 for Badrinath. An official of the state Tourism department informed that all arrangements have been done to ensure all facilities for the tourists and pilgrims.
