Yogi Inspects The Progress Of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport In Ayodhya

Ayodhya, March 20 (TNA) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday inspected the Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport under construction in district Ayodhya and the 4-lane road from Ayodhya-Sultanpur National Highway to the airport.

Addressing the media representatives on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that apart from visiting Ayodhya Dham, he got the opportunity of physical verification and review of various development works being carried out by the Central and State Governments in the district. The construction work of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is progressing on a war footing within its stipulated time frame.

At present, projects worth Rs 32 thousand crore are being implemented by the central and state governments for the overall development of Ayodhya. Additional Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary of different departments had already been sent to Ayodhya to review these projects, who did physical verification and review of their respective departments.

Today, the Chief Minister got the opportunity to physically verify some development works under construction in the district.

Grand Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport is under construction in Ayodhya. A runway and apron of 3 thousand meters is being constructed here. Out of the land required for the construction of this airport, about 751 acres of land has already been acquired, the process of acquiring the remaining 22 acres of land is underway on a war footing.
