15 Killed As Speeding Tractor Falls In A Pond In Kasganj, Dead Include Seven Children

Lucknow, February 24 (TNA) In a major mishap in the Kasganj district of UP on Saturday, a tractor-trolley filled with devotees fell into the pond, leaving seven innocent children and eight women dead. Villagers and policemen are engaged in relief and rescue operations at the time of filing this report.

According to the information, an uncontrolled tractor trolley fell into the pond on Patiali Dariyavganj road in Kasganj at around 10 am on Saturday. Seven children and eight female devotees travelling in the trolley have died. There was chaos and screaming at the spot after which nearby villagers and policemen were engaged in relief and rescue operations.

The devotees rescued from the pond have been sent to the community health centre in Patiali. The deceased are said to be from Kaha village of Etah district. CMO Rajeev Aggarwal confirmed to the media that 15 have died in the accident.
