22-Minutes Before Deadline, Ashish Mishra Turns Up At Crime Branch Office
Lakhimpur Kheri, Oct 9 (TNA) Twenty-two minutes before the set deadline of 11 am, Ashish Mishra ‘Monu’ presented hismelf before the crime branch in Lakhimpur Kheri on Saturday.
He had earlier did not turn up on friday when he was summoned by the Crime Branch. His father Ajay Mishra Teni, the union home minister for home had already trashed reports that he had fled to neighbouring Nepal.
According to information available, Mishra is accompanied by the representative of Teni and his lawyer as he recorded his statement before a magistrate.
He is also learnt to be carrying some affidavits saying that he was not present at the scene of the accident where a car belonging to him ploughed into a procession of farmers last Sunday at Tikonia.
