26 PPS Officers In UP Promoted, Become IPS AFter Nod From The President
Lucknow, Sep 16 (TNA) Twenty-five officials of the Provincial Police Services (PPS) in Uttar Pradesh have been promoted as officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS). In the meeting of the Departmental Promotion Committee held on August 21, it was agreed to promote 26 officers of the year 1993 and 1994 batch to the IPS cadre. After getting the permission of the President, all of them have now been promoted to the IPS cadre.
The Union Home Ministry issued its order on Friday. The PPS officers who have been promoted to the IPS cadre include Pradeep Kumar, Vipul Kumar Srivastava, Hari Govind, Pankaj, Vidyasagar Mishra, Ghanshyam, Anand Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Ram Suresh, Mohammad Tariq, Ravi Shankar Nim, Dr. Mahendra Pal. Singh.
Also in the list are Nidhi Sonkar, Basant Lal, Sushil Kumar, Devendra Bhushan, Ashutosh Mishra, Dr. Rajeev Dixit, Kunwar Gyananjay Singh, Ramnayan Singh, Ashutosh Dwivedi, Arun Kumar Singh, Dr. Durgesh Kumar, Vinod Kumar Pandey, Neeraj Kumar Pandey and Surendra Nath Tiwari.
